This is a putter chart that was first created by Runwme and I have done some small tweaks to it. It has a diffrent chart for each green speed, and also gives you exact power of the meter. It can be used w/ the Putter Pal since the putter pal gives you 10% power increments.  (I also have it in 5% power increments if anyone wants)

This Chart is only setup for the Nike Putter. As you can see the putter increments are 10ft, 20ft, 50ft, 100ft, and 150ft. The percentage on the left side of the chart is % of power you will fill your meter up.

(Right click image, open in new tab)

Example: This screen shot shows a 20 foot putt that is down 1. You can refer to the chart above and find your correct putters distance.

To hit the ball 19 feet. Find your green speed's chart. Very Fast. Since I have the 50 foot putter in my hands I can hit the shot with 30% power and it will go 18 feet. So you would want to add a bit above 30% power to get to the above stated 19 foot putt. Of course it helps to add a bit more than the distance to make sure you reach the cup. (Cant get up, Cant get in)

Again this is not taking the right to left slope into affect, which absolutely affects your speed over a distance of putts obviously.

Example 2: This putt is 10 feet and up 3, so roughly 13 feet of power is needed. Putter in hand is the 20 foot Nike.

Back up to Very Fast Greens chart and now instead of the 50 foot increment line we want the 20 foot increment line. 60% power would hit the ball 14.4 feet. So I would hit it about 60% to make sure you get atleast 13 feet of distance on your putt.

Hope this can help some newbies get familiar with putting. Its certainly a feel thing, but once you get your speeds down....more putts will start to drop. It definitely helped me when I started up. With the search function now gone in the forums, I figured it would be nice to repost it for some people to see.

Ive changed the old a bit as i found alot of putts were coming up just short of the green. I also set the stimp on Champ to what MrWGT told us it was in one of his interviews.

Im not positive but i think Runwme's version was a bit of a guess.

Isn't this just simple arithmetic, just double the distance hit it twice as hard, or am I missing something?

Thanks. It was a serious question, no need for rudeness.

You're correct, I didn't need to be rude, I chose to be.
