Wes and I played our match against JFHuber and Chop948 yesterday night. I didn't save the cards (Sorry!) but here are the scores:
1st game (Best of): JFHuber and Chop win 4&3:
This game was a nightmare for my Bro-pard and me we were just...AWEFUL!!!
2nd game (RSG): Wes and Fred win 1up:
A good game from all, lot of good putts didn't want to drain from both side and which could make this game a great one if they sank.
3rd game Bethpage: Wes and Fred win 3&2:
My Weso showed me again he is the boss!!! ;)
Message to Chop: We watched the video of our game and thanks for doing this JF...it's interesting to see the different ways to play this game.
I'm gonna try to answer your questions Chop:
- 'Who are these guys?" : Weso and Fredo, 2 bro's who love playing together with weird wedges ;) BTW, there's no bad equipment but the way you use it is weird or not! Our wedges worked pretty well in the 3rd round, didn't they?
- "If we win, who are we playing next?": I think we answered your question yesterday...I don't know who we're gonna play now ;)
To end this post, I would like to remind everyone here that we all have bad rounds in this game. Even on easy courses, it's easy to get nervous and play bad shots because of too much thinking or just because you're not in a good day.
Watching your mess and hearing laughing on you and talking about your weird stuff is not that fun. I understand you can entry in a tournament with a competitor spirit but it's easy to respect your opponent when you remember the crap game you played few hours or days or weeks before. Nobody here escapes those games and the 1st one yesterday was one of them for Wes and I.
Also, I wish we could hear your skyping last 2 rounds!!! Too bad...
In conclusion, yesterday night, Wes and I agreed on a great and very fun match. We won as we could lose it as well. JF and Chop played a great 1st round (no mistakes) and give us a game on the 2 others. Thanks to all for this good time I enjoyed a lot.
Sorry, I don't use to be a "rough posts guy" but Wes been offended by what he watched after the match (and I can understand!) so I had to give my thoughts. Thanks for your understanding and good luck and keep having fun to all players in this tournament!!!
Fred
