Very, very close match against JLucky and Aahna, as you can see from the scorecards, we all played always to the last hole.
On the first 9 holes we straightened the 1DN right away, then the key hole was #6 (Kiawah PAR 3 #17), which we managed to tie because I holed a birdie pitched in from the left side fairway.
Then at #8 (Congressional long PAR4 #11) JLucky keeps his approach a tad short and we won by birdieing.
On the Second 9 holes the match was pretty much even... but the awesome putting skills of JLucky saved them first and earned then the 1UP that was kept until the end.
On the third 9 holes both our opponents and me and Lele lowered a bit the quality of play... we both made PAR at first hole, and I personally feel we lost the match right there hehe... we struggled a lot to keep up with them throughout the whole match, shortening the distance at #7, where JLucky made his only mistake by going into the bunker.
The following holes were basically very well played by both, and the 1DN was kept until the end.
I am very happy how the match has ended, even though we lost, we were there all the time, breathing on our opponent's necks :-) we were just a bit less precise on putting, and that made all the difference.
Good luck for the rest of the tournament!
