    Hello everybody

I have big problem with my bunker shots around the green, here is  a  exemple among others.

    Congressional Hole 16 par 5

23 yards bunker shot (30-40% lie) elevation +4ft

What kind of shot i have to take to perform well ?

With the starter sand and lob wedges you have the best option is the punch. With better wedges then pitch will work fairly well once you learn how much power to use.

Full shot or punch. Ignore the caddie.

Thank you everybody,  bunker shot is my  worse weak point actually.

If I understands well,  for this exemple, i takes full shot, 45 yards ?

Each club and ball with give different results. You'll be better of trying it in practice mode and making notes.

You must experiment with your clubs, but no, probably a lot less since it also rolls a lot from the bunker. Also remember that, when you practice, if the shot is not a ding or very close to a ding, it is useless as reference since the ding means so much from the sand.

To give you a good idea where to start your practice.  Here are two replays of shots I made from the bunker on CC #16.  30-40 lie, and 4 or 5 ft up elevatio.

I see you have the starter ball and an ATV 64 degree wedge equipped (50yds). So I used my 64 degree, 50 yd Z-Satin wedge and a starter ball on these shots. You can expect similar results.

64 degree wedge(50yd), full shot at 85% power went 24 yds on standard speed green.

64 degree wedge (50yd), punch shot at 100% power went 26 yds on standard speed green.

You'll need to adjust a bit less power on faster greens.  But it gives you an idea of what all are talking about.

    Good luck!

TM 50 yrd wedge is full bs just under 2 avatar movements lol

Try taking the yardage x .3

So for that shot 23 yrds - 23 x .3 = 29 yrds So whatever shot/club you have in your bag that goes 29 yrds.
