HELP! - how to play final hole Virtual U.S. Open Back 9 Challenge?

  I just can't get close 2 the pin on that 205 yds approach. A bit short and the ball rolls back or stays a long way short, a bit long and ball rolls on till back of the green, multiplying my '8hole-score' all the time. Guess the problem occurs especially with tailwind, at least that's all I had sofar. 

  In a lesser degree, the same applies to the 7th hole.

  Any tips, suggestions or ideas are welcome, thx.

  Im struggling on this 1 too Goody (last hole). Im using balls with 4 dots spin, but they just keep on rolling, lol. I have had tailwinds every time too. Sorrry i cant be of help, but will keep an eye on this thread for my own sanity as well, lol.

  EDIT: i was looking at the wrong hole when i commented on hole 7. That 1 is a bit of a struggle as well for me.

  You might try hitting short with added top spin and letting it run up to the front of the green. That is what I am going to try to do next time. All three of my earlier attempts the ball just kept rolling.(edit)

  No at least not dropping down 1 full club, Maybe dropping down 1/2 an avatar move with topspin.

  It would defo be a good idea if i could just get a wind going from left to right. But every single time i play, the wind is always directly a tailwind. No variation on it whatsoever.

  Very strange - I've only played it three or four times, and every time I also get only tailwinds on #9 !

  Reminds me of the Congressional USGA CTTH two years ago, if you had tail you were rooked, might as well start over.

  Just tried this had 17 mph @11, I tried 195 full bs and was 12 ft short, would suggest 195 just a tad off full BS.

  Cheers Bogey, will check this out the next time i manage to get to 9, lol. You know yourself, get to 6 or 7, and the score aint great, start again.

  Just had a 14mph wind heading at 1 o clock. Used 200 full power, and full backspin, and stopped at 193 yards, hmpf.

  And this ladies and gentleman is why you remove the flag stick each and every time...

  This hole totally reminds me of #9 in the USGA CCTH at Congressional.  Hit 195 full back, 18ft short, hit 195, 1/2 back 46ft long. Seems there is s hump, you land before it you are short, after it and you are way long. Two years ago, your best hope was an occassional cross wind or head wind.
