  i think we all have meeter problems today its my putter meeter its all over the place never seen it like this b4.

  What the hell are you talking about?

  I speak the truth. You tell us the problematic meter for some is caused by WGTs code, but offer no solution for anyone to implement to their machines. It just seems like a constant pile on WGT with the meter issue. It does nothing to help the people experiencing a bad meter.

  The OPs fix is simple, but I and others are for sure to be denigrated by you and others for offering any kind of assistance. That's the truth!

  Try the Maxthon 4 browser . Many of the players use maxthon , myself included.  It comes with an older version of flash, thats locked by maxthon to not update. It plays very well with this game. Give it a try and see if it helps. You can get it from either C/NET or you can down load direct from maxthon. Also make sure you clear your browser history, and dont import anything over to the maxthon browser . Use it only for this game. Hope this helps. Happy Swinging

  In many cases it's the local machine/connection/ISP etc....

  ...but...

  Has anyone else noticed how the meter will be working fine until one attempts a shot with water or OB to the right, then the meter makes a mysterious lightning jump to the right just as one is ready to ding?  I think this is a cynical little programming ploy by wgt to increase ball revenue.

  The game is so much fun in most every other respect, it's a shame they feel they have to resort to such tactics.

  btw, I'd love to be proven wrong about this.

  Maxthon Cloud, works great + sky notes for  making  notes on your shot if you keep notes.

  Type msconfig in the Run box or the start menu > click the Boot Tab > click Advanced Options > and check that 2 cores is checked.

  You can also close unwanted startup items in the task manager.

  Use the before mentioned browser & tips from the other posters in this thread. These tools should get you in the right direction to having a better meter.

  Sorry to derail, but just like clockwork on St A #12 with 14 mph tailwind, meter takes sudden jump to right and sends Nike straight into weeds where it is, of course, lost.

  Guess I should learn my lesson and shut up about this.

  Why don't you read the stuff in bold. You do not realize how stupid that sentence is?
  Besides, I do not say the problematic meter for some is cause by WGT's code, we all use the same code, I am saying WGT could make a meter that runs smooth for all of us and I have offered them, WGT, pointers on how to do it.  Maybe it would look different, or rather, it would most likely look a bit different, but most important is that it's functional.
  
  Until then, keep responding to the same thread every day. Each day it is a new title but the same thread.

  And maybe you do speak the truth, but that is only because you have not understood the discussion well enough to know you are wrong.

  Just stop saying the stuttering meter some experience is all WGTs fault. It isn't!
