Why when it comes time to play in a tourny.. .I get the most lag out of any other time i play

So sad it has to be like this man!!!!!!!

multiplay after multiplay with people, no lag,,, but when it comes time to spend my credits and maybe place in a tourny... SHIIIII.....ooooot.      I cant even hit my darn meter.    so much lag and studder video and such!!!!

i know you have heard this before millions of times.. So heres another one..

this happned in my CC tourny too.. Spend creds on a trouny and get lag.. play for free in multiplay and there is not a hint of lag..

YES cleared everything... min graphics, computer is good, no problems unless i join a tourny where i actually think i may have a chance to do good!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA shiiiiiii.......ooooot yeah right!!!!

When I play in RG's, the first thing I do is slow down.   I don't know what the heck WGT or Flash is doing (maybe scanning running processes??), but it takes longer for the screen to fully load during the RG's (and the 2 opens) than it does in regular single player mode.

My advice is to open Task Manager, set it to minimize to the system tray, and watch it after the hole loads.    More likely than not, even after the screen comes up for you, you'll see relatively high CPU use, which typically drops down after a few seconds.   Once it drops down, wait another couple of seconds (because sometimes it just spikes up again for no apparent reason), and then swing.

Let the meter swing through once is usually smooth for next shot

aye, that's a good idea.  Also, elsewhere in the forums, there is a suggestion of pausing at the top of your back swing to let the computer settle down before the run to click.

    Every little bit helps.
