Electronic Arts named the worst company in America – again. This came from plugged in,EA chief operating officer Peter Moore, in an open letter to gamers last week, admitted the company could do better, but said the label of "worst company" was undeserved.

"Are we really the 'Worst Company in America?'" he asked. "I'll be the first to admit that we’ve made plenty of mistakes. These include server shut downs too early, games that didn’t meet expectations, missteps on new pricing models and most recently, severely fumbling the launch of SimCity. We owe gamers better performance than this. … But I am damn proud of this company, the people around the globe who work at EA, the games we create and the people that play them."

You have quoted a lot of text there...  do you have an opinion on it that you would like to open a discussion with by any chance?

And the point of your post? Do you even know what EA does and are you just here to spit at a company thats head and shoulders above WGT as far as gaming ?

The OP has the title of the thread completely wrong in an attempt to inflate WGT. Nowhere in any of the articles I read did they even mention TW. The survey does not disclose it's methodology, either, meaning that a concerted effort by a disgruntled group of people might well be skewing the results. I see little more than a non-scientific popularity poll there.

There is also no "TW vs WGT" anywhere in the analysis or any proper extrapolation. WGT is probably too small of a company to even appear in the list for selection each year, but even if it is it should be a "EA vs WGT" comparison, not "TW vs WGT".

OPY- this is not an "either - or" situation. I routinely dabble with three different golf games, plus an occasional round of miniature golf for entertainment. One of the golf games has a much better playing experience but terrible anime graphics. Another has real-world courses but not in the graphic detail this one has. Also, both of them require downloading of software onto the user's computer.

No elimination of one over the other is necessary.

Although the thread may be titled wrong , I think the point is , is that WGT is making some of the same mistakes, as E/A sports. Over priced balls, overall game performance, poor customer service, poor quality control . So when you look at it this way, yes WGT has much in common with E/A. I love this game, and I try to enjoy playing it everyday. Yes there is much room for improvement , but management wont listen too the players. So instead of biting the head off of the O/P ,read the thread , and understand what is being said . My 2 cents. Happy Swinging

I tried Tiger Woods Online a few weeks ago. It was horrible. Crashed at least six times during my round at Sawgrass, and had inferior gameplay to start with. The paid version may be better than WGT, but in an apples-to-apples comparison, it isn't even close.

How could anyone like carTWOn golf? PlayStation, Xbox, and especially Wii are also cheap looking to play.

That sh!t is awful looking. Those games don't compare one iota to WGT and their HD courses.

WGT.com is by far the best simulated golf game ever created. Bar none!

I'm waiting for Tiger Woods and EA Sports to get on board the WGT.com band wagon.
