One of my favorite shots out of the sand near the green is the flop shot. However I've noticed that the shot immediately comes off the club to the right every time.(Not VEM)  It doesn't matter where the aim point is placed. Unless i adjust left of the ding considerably as if adjusting for heavy wind, it always flies to the right.

Not being a IRL golfer, perhaps there is a logical reason for the program to mimic a specific action......right arm too short???

IRL a flop shot does come off the club significantly to the right.  The reason for this is when you open the club up all they way it ends up aiming right.  If you ever watch the PGA tour you will notice that their stance is very open to compensate.

And in-game , use the line immediately left of the ding line to land where you aim :)

To add to this one, if the green is breaking medium to severe, left or right close to the hole, compensate by missing that mark to the side it's breaking from. How much depends on the severity. I also add a min 3-4 yds for normal shots with 2/3 back spin usually.  Less for severe down slopes and I add approx. 8-9yds for 40-50% lies no matter what the distance with the dot at the grass line.  Here again with the exception of severe downslopes.

For a full power flop, imagine the flagstick is lying down on the green to the left, put the aimer where the end of the flagstick would be and ding it and it will go straight, for less than full power, move the aimer closer to the hole, practice makes pefect.

For what it is worth a 21mph pure wind from the right will require no movement of the aimer (Only for a full power flop), just ding it and the wind will do the rest.

Some folks hit the line before the ding line, this achieves a similar result but I lose too much spin when doing this so I prefer to aim far enough left and then ding it for max spin.

Practice it until you are confident with a specific method that works for you.
