    LOLserver:

Tiger simply forgot to take the flag out like we all do in our short apporaches here at WGT.

how many of you remove the flagsticks on an approach? I seldom remove it, though it has bit me a couple of times.

Always, except for those times when I forget to...just like I always doublecheck the putter scale, except for those times when I forget to.*

*btw, if you find a dead body on Oly #7 that's my caddy.

Amen, brother mkg! I never pulled the pin, until WGT tweaked things 6 or 8 months back, and chips that used to drop started bouncing off the pin to a few inches away. That's when I started pulling the pin for the short stuff - chips, flops and pitches - except when I forget to.

Testify! I can report the same symptoms, w.r.t. those 'Awww, f***!' moments when you realize you've wrong-scaled your down-hiller at either of the 'O' courses, and it's bye bye baby off the green.

Only from short approach, nearly 40/50yds.
In any case using chip, flop or pitch in green lips.

Even in case of using putter from fringe.

Oh man, I hear you loud and clear...and all you can do is laugh at yourself.  That is, after all the cussing...
