I'm wondering why the wind on courses is always shifting in direction and strength, sometimes by unbelievable amounts from one hole to the next. Wouldn't a real day at the course have a fairly consistent wind, maybe changing by 20% in speed and direction? That way, each hole would see the wind changing due to geography only and not just some random wind selection. St. Andrews 16 and 17 are good examples of how it's kinda stupid.
