I was playing a round today and at the start of the 4th hole my swing meter shrunk in half for all of my clubs. It became impossible to get any accuracy after this, and everything was in the rough. Has this ever happened to anyone, I searched the forum and all I could see is the usual "waiting on the backswing will shrink the meter". My problem is the meter is half the size it used to be right from the start.

If I can't get the meter back to its usual size I will end up quitting this game, it is impossible to enjoy playing due to the difficulty of hitting a straight ball.

Can you post a screen shot of it?

Right click on the game and send a bug report the WGT support.

here is the screen shot - still half size today. This size is for all clubs except putter, putter has slightly larger, I believe normal size.

Thanks for reply, strange that for the past two months of play I had use of the full length of the meter. Sounds like other people play with this half sized meter? Oh well, time for me to try other things in life :)

    Have you changed clubs recently?

Since your image shows you in your backswing, i am going to assume, you are paused in your backswing and you have allowed the 'inner' meter, the blue area to shrink.

This blue area is your forgiveness zone. The longer you stay in your backswing the more likely this blue zone begins to shrink and reduces your 'forgiveness'.

Bring your swing back to 0 and it restores to its usual width. Hit the swing faster and it doesnt reduce at all.

shrude, this is not the case, the size of the swing meter in the picture is what I get with no pause, and if I pause for 30 seconds, the same - I basically have been given a permanent pause swing meter.

Courtney - yes, I changed drivers, and I also became a master level player. But I did not see the changes immediately, it happened in the middle of a round.
