Sorry to see you are having problems. Even with nothing else running there will be background processes running. I use tantri meter now and have the small window open when I play. If it spikes  do not hit. You could try using games booster which will kill processes not required.

Also ensure your virus scanner is not running as this will kill any good meter

Finally have you cleared your flash cache? I always do this after any updates.

I use chrome and keep flash up to date. I often have several apps open. I find no matter what browser or how little I have open my meter to be usually fine, BUT to guarantee it to be silky smooth 99.99999% of the time then full screen mode using the bottom right button in the game does it for me!

Several months ago now I was getting a crap meter no matter what but that turned out to be the router going faulty....................

One other thing you may want to test your internet connection I know there are some tools that you can do this with - especially if you are using a wireless connection. Have to do a google search. good luck!

Hmm. I have an AMD Radeon card. I recently upgraded the driver and it fixed a problem I'd been having, not so much a meter burp where it just stops and then continues further down the meter, but a really slow FPS in Flash. The meter would be smooth, but would look like about 9 FPS. Don't know if it'll help, but it's always a good idea to have the latest drivers loaded, especially with how fast things like Flash get updated.

    micheldess:
I'm desperated, frustrated and have no fun with the jumpy meter, how to play well and enjoy with that, discouraged, not want to play anymore.

Understand your situation!.......Here is what i did to correct my meter problem after trying all advice I could find.

About a month ago, i played an alt game with a friendly gent. I explained about my bad meter at that time. He says to correct the meter issues, the best thing you could do was cut down your friends list to somewhere under 10. His meter has been great since he did just that!

I now have 3 friends on my own list, and for at least 2 weeks now the meter is very stable! I have used at least 3 different browsers during that period & they are all very good!

Hate to see anyone cut back their friends list, but if you can find no other way to solve your problem, you might want to try the friends option...........Good luck

Thank you all, i appreciate your help.

After   trying   chrome, internet explorer, mozilla and maxthon, tomorrow i  try  opera and safari lol

Yes, if the problem persist, i cut my friend list but it's a hard decision, hope to find other solution by then.

My connection is stable, it's already that  just the problem with the flash palyer or  my computer not enough powerfull.

I love to play, i hope, i can  play with fluidity in the future and enjoy  the game again.

I have had the same problem also the last weeks. I have a 20gBit fast and stable fiber line and running nothing else than WGT. This is really irritating....., Used Chrome from the first day and have a updated flashplayer.

I have experienced this before, and then it just went away after a while but now it still  here. I lost a couple of expensive balls in the water the other day and that's really irritating because it was the jumpy meter that cause this......

Maybe this is a problem just in Europe??
