I just got 3 of the Ping Tour W wedges and am surprised to find out that when hit with full BS they are about 10% short on full yardage.. Am I doing something wrong or have others experienced this? BTW these are the lvl 42+.
To be expected, more spin holds the ball longer.
Practice them with no spin first, adjust yardages with bs/ts.
Learn the punch shots as well.
I carried those wedges through Legend.
You should always add on a little to allow for spin, the amount can vary between clubs and balls.

I still have the 54 degree 105 Yard Ping W wedge that I use for my 3rd wedge most of time. Very reliable for both distance and accuracy.
Alright. I already did a little experimenting and checking of yardages. Guess as I get equipment that can really stick a ball I will have to figure carry yardage instead of carry and roll.
I will try them with top spin and punch, should be fun.
Thanks

choosing the right amount of spinis just as important as choosing the right club,it takes time and practice, but it's not hard to master.
