I honestly don't think anyone can tell you whether it's worth you changing, putters are very much a matter of taste.   The Ghost is a great putter, I've been using it since I reached L92 and love it.  I had the L66 one before that and took to the new putter straight away.  I tried the Nike but couldn't get on with it, particularly the 10 foot scale which just seemed dead.  I suppose if I'd stuck with it I could have got used to it but I was playing well with the Ghost so figured why have a dozen or so bad rounds while I adapted to a new putter.

I can tell you the Ghost is a good putter if you hit the ding, less so if you miss it, intentionally or not.  There are many here who aim putts by missing the ding rather than moving the aim marker and the Ghost won't be a good choice if you do this.  It loses a lot of distance if you do and becomes hard to judge.  I aim to hit the ding almost every putt and get on great with it although I know missed dings probably cost me a shot or two per round.

Shame we just had a free rental weekend, that would have been the ideal chance to try it out over a couple of days without having to pay.

Irish, I have tried the lvl 92 putter the last three free weekends and end up coming back to the lvl 77 nike every time. As you already know, just hit the short ones a little hard. IMHO, the 92 is not any better than the nike. It's what you get use to.

I hear ya... I really have no issues with the Method putter and I also miss the ding on the hard breaking putts (I make a fair share of those) and the previous poster said the Ghost doesn't allow you to do that with as much forgiveness.  I think i'll just stand pat.

I had both and the Level 92 Ghost is in my opinion a much better putter. You also might want to consider the Level 80+ Max putter with the extra swing increments it is my opinion as good as the Ghost and better than the method. But you might want to wait a week. Who knows what they will bring out in the next update which should be sometime next week. I am hoping for the new Taylor Made Daddy Long Legs. Of course I always hope for the Hammy Putter but I don't ever see that happening.

Well I only had the Lvl 66 (?) Ghost but I liked it. I have the Nike now and probably would not change. I agree the 10 meter increment is useless, I simply don't use it. It seems to be a more forgiving putter if that's what you are looking for. [ Can't say I'm familiar with the hammy putter or the Long legs.]

MM said it best and I agree. I've never tried any of the putters that came out since the 92 Ghost simply because I'm not sure how they could improve on it. The putting style is key-gotta dingit.  :-)

I rented the L92 Ghost during free weekend and loved it. I bought it this week and love it. Did I mention I love it? ;-)
