I'm kind of confused and could use a little help here, please. I just finished the monthly multi-round tourney. I'm at tour-pro , level 59. Here's my two part question. 1) Why are masters listed in the tour pro category? Shouldn't masters be listed with masters and tour-pros with tour-pros, etc.? 2) What happens at pay-out time? Do the masters that are listed in the tour-pro category get paid from the tour-pro winnings?

Could they be masters who started the month as tour pros but were promoted while the tournament was taking place? After all, a full month went by from the time the tourney started.

i agree !! i have played tournaments as a tour pro and gained master tier later that month. i still played that particular round as a tour pro. so in fact i had entered tournaments at both tiers in one month.

Like I said, I'm a level 59 Tour-pro. I just turned level 59. I don't know how many levels I have to go through before I reach Master. I try to play almost every day so I'm earning experience points each day. It probably takes about a week to two weeks to get to the next level. How does a person make it to level 83 and only play 53 ranked rounds and have a score average of 62 and be a master? Hmmm....$$$ maybe? Why play when all you have to do is toss in a few bucks, keep climbing tiers, and buy all the best equipment. How do you compete against that? I can't afford be spending cash to buy my equipment, so I have to take surveys and such, to get the credits I need to buy equipment. I guess I've ranted on enough. I'd just like to see a bit more honesty. (Like that's ever going to happen, right?)

I have had this happen to me and it was explained this way:

Whatever tier you play the FIRST round at will be the tier you are ranked at for EVERY round of that tournament.

If one the first day you played as a tour pro and by the end of the month you are a Master your results will still be listed as a tour pro, even if you played 1 round as TP and 99 as Master.
