    DAZZA501:
I find some lower tiers don't even know how to get in to the club forum or that if their "my messages" box is green then they have a message.

This is why we have a link in a welcoming message to all new members walls.

We also have a Beginners Tutorial within our club forums.

    EGabriel2:

    Thanks for a straight answer

They didnt mean to be rude...or maybe they did lol but the question could have easily been answered by yourself had you taken the time to see what CC's are available and what they are about in the special forum within this forum thats all.

But the answer is YES :)

you will find that most clubs do have some members very involved , and some not much involved and a few not involved at all. The % vary from club to club

in my CC (currently 73 members) , i would say that more than half are really involved and some are sparingly involved ...while a few are hardly involved in the CC and are at risk of losing their membership as i remove those who show no CC activity after 30 days

is the answer straight enough for you ?

ps : i could add that it always depend on the tiers ---> i notice that the lower tier players are the least involved ...i always have some CC tourneys for lower tier players but few of them participate !

We have about the same amount of members.... but only about 20-30 regulars in the comps we have..... the rest are mostly Am's and Hacks who I havn't seen....lol

In a small club we have, we all have a great time in all our comps....

One thing that I shake my head in.....  we have weekend Tired Based Comps... for Prizes.... and the AM's and Hacks... are never to be seen

I  look at the club membership and remove anybody who hasn't played in the last year....

CC's are meant to be fun! :)

I do this every Sunday and remove anyone who hasn't played in the last month.

Our CC is small 48, but very active all but 4 have played within the last week, 2 being on holidays. Our tourneys as a rule have 80% participation Although Courtney seems a bit mean, what else can you do. Some CC's have 100 members as an example & half the membership haven't played in 2013, can't see the point in keeping them. Although, I have to admit it's not one of the fun things I do as CC owner.

I don't like culling members either, but if they do nothing for the club and you have others waiting  to get in, then they have to go. WGT only allows 250 per club.

Courteney does run a tight ship but The Peoples Club is my 3rd CC and by far the best I have been a part of. They have a lot of activity and many involved members. Lots of tournaments and plenty of inter club matches. All in all a great experience for me. Just my $.002
