    Hello,

?  I can understand why  you lose a ball if you land in water, but why lose one

if it lands in weeds, surely if I no where my ball landed I can retrieve it . bought a pack of 3 balls last night lost 2 within 9 hole's  lol guess i'll have to be carefull with my balls from now on .

If you buy a sleeve of balls, does it help with spin, do they eventualy wear out and go away??

Yes JD they wear out. They can also be lost in water or weeds. The dots after the word spin shows the degree of spin. Balls do not work as good with lower level clubs. Try the wgt balls.  The GISD balls are not bad balls.

Balls will only help with spin if #1 they have a decent spin rating. That is the dots of spin. And #2 if your clubs have a decent spin rating .Your starter clubs having only 1/2 dot of spin are not going to help much even with the highest rated spin balls. Get some better wedges with at least 3 dots of spin and balls with at least 1 to 1 1/2 dots of spin and you can start stopping the ball better and get closer to the hole. A few of the WGT balls with better spin ratings are fairly cheap. 1 ball with 1 dot of spin and no dots on distance and a good ball to learn how to play spin with is the WGT B-ES ball. A sleeve of the white ones are only 10 credits, and with 2 dots of durability they last a fairly long time.

And yes the balls you buy wear out and are taken out of play. Every ball you buy has a durability rating. The more dots of durability the longer they will last,

Balls that simply land in the weeds can still be found. It's the balls that go out of bounds... those just disappear.

Somewhere in another dimension, there's a huge pile of out-of-bounds WGT balls... next to a pile of unmatched socks from the dryer.

Every man alive should look up the wikipedia for the "candiru" fish.  It'll help.

As with any other game online, the design of this one is to get you to purchase credits in order to compete.
