So I know this post is not going to appeal to everyone but, I love the NFL draft so wanted to hear other NFL fans perspective on how their team did yesterday and will do going forward?

My team is the 49ers and I was really happy to see they traded up.  Was not as excited to see who they picked though.  Yes the Safety position was a need but I think they could of got a good one in later rounds.  I am very interested to see who they pick today.  So let's hear how you think your team did?

I think the point from dbloshoe was that many of us also follow football and he was fishing to see how many might be interested in voicing their opinions on the draft.

If you have no interest just don't enter into the discussion.

I thought it was interesting that no running backs were picked, just a picture of the value of players in the NFL today.   Pass happy league in which offensive linemen are much more valuable than running backs.   I'm a Steeler fan and thought they did pretty good would have liked to see them pick up Slyvester Jones from North Carolina at 17 instead of the linebacker they got.   Bernard from NC is a beast of a running back, with good hands and a great returner, he will be a steal in the late 2nd round.

Worse pick in the first round was Kyle Long by the Bears, he was at best a mid second round guy, defintely not an early first rounder.

The NFL will always be my first and foremost watched sport, then baseball, then because of WGT, golf. I have not missed a FedEx Cup event this year, and finished 4th out of 96 in our Masters Pool. Anyway the Broncos are my team and I am happy with our first pick (Sylvester Williams DT from UNC). I am actually more excited for rounds two and three as all the "skill" position players are left! Will be watching later tonight for sure! I liked Miami's pick and St. Louis and was not a fan of the Bills or Cowboys pick.

And you haven't been playing golf during the postseason like the Bills have for the past 13 years!!  LOL They've been looking for Jim Kelly's replacement since he retired and a decent head coach since Marv Levy left.

EJ Manuel is his name, QBing the Bills is his new game and the rabid fans in Buffalo that have suffered miserably for 13 straight years, learning how to lose every way possible and learning how gomers don't make good head coaches finally have something to get excited about. We have one of those big (6'4"  250#s) strong armed types that doesn't have cement feet and will make things happen.

Buffalo has their training camp at St. John Fisher College, right down the street from where the US Open will be this year AND  around the corner from where the LPGA Championship is played. The ladies play June 6-9, the Bills start camp July 31 and the US Open is a week later.

One hell of a summer coming up for Rochester, NY.  and now there's something to look forward to after the boys of summer finish. Might not be such a long winter now.  :-)

I love NFL but living in a stupid country where ev'rybody goin' nuts for soccer. Did there a more stupid game that this one, it make no sense.

Damn satellite dish gave me the needing help so, when I can, I join games. Can't follow trades because didn't know too much about that mechanism. But, by the way, my favourite time all along is the Chicago Bears: damn "According to Jim".

Sorry for this meddling and why not have a special ball in NFL style?

I thought he was an ok pick. The Bears need to fill that line with some good players before Cutler gets his head completely knocked off. Time will tell though. He doesn't have a lot of experience so hopefully he does have some natural ability. He's got a decent blood line too...lol

    Go Bears
