The Legend tees are further back and at slightly different angles than the TM tees. It's supposed to be harder to play at Legend.

This is a case of the system working as planned IMO. A very impressive record since very early on.

I am sure some of the players when you were lower tiers thought exactly the same - no play on even field.

There are some Legend tees where you need backspin to miss the trees and others where you need topspin. Clicking early and late to get a bit of bend can help too.

Congrats, you are clearly a decent player - so WGT will shaft you.

    It's hard at level 74.

I made Master at level 40 and Legend at 72. I struggled with distance both times - sometimes even if you ding the tee shot you won't make the fairway (certain holes with a headwind).

There are a few drivers you can get now which would help as well as balls with distance - but ideally if you can wait until level 81 (like I did) and pick up the higher level G20 (280yards) and wood (240 yards) you won't have any problems.

Also that driver you have is Med/High loft which makes trees and obstacle - I hit plenty from the Legend tee with it. As someone else said - using backspin will loft it. You could also consider using a punch shot to keep it low.

The Legend tee is tricky, sometimes the distance increase is small sometimes it's massive.

The 2 holes I have noticed it most is hole 17 St Andrews and Congressional 18 - both are a full 60 yards behind the Master tee which make them a challenging par.

You may also have to play a few Par 3s with a driver.

Some have a good aptitude for the game, and so can progress quickly to legend genuinely.

It is now a different and harder game anyway and that's a challenge to be embraced!

Equipment wise from where you are it's also not "whacko" far away to start getting real legend gear. Level 79 the Bladez are excellent (to consider)  and then in the L80s start to get G20 woods etc. Unless credits are burning your pocket  I would skip anything between what you have and the HL G20 wood wise looking at the specs of those products...

I am afraid equipment wise it is not the best situation - loads threads what I think that LOL, but not all bad from where you are either! Having got to the tips circa your level I can say that. Enjoy and congrats!
