    Corwyn:

I'm giving up for this morning, but would be interested to hear if anyone might be available after 10pm Pacific time (WGT time) tonight... (i.e. just before the deadline). Thanks!

    I gotcha at 10pm Corwyn!

    See ya then.

    Thanks MB!

Seems like you're either a glutton for punishment, or really loving this format! You must have played more rounds than anyone else in this tourney...

    See you later tonight!

Well, MB very kindly marked for me tonight, and we just finished (half an hour after deadline, oops!).

I didn't trouble any of the possible prizes anyway, so Hans' score was very safe, and so were all the par 3 holes... but I was very grateful for the chance to finish the tournament. I ended up with an inglorious 71 (seems like I got worse as the tourney went on, hmmmm....)

It was a night of almost no birdies and my usual struggle to get home at the end. Made a clumsy mistake with the putting meter on #16 that led to a stupid bogey, and we both got flummoxed by a strange behaving wind on #17 that we're sure was plain lying, lol!

I'm sharing an extra screenshot from the 18th to show the kind of great spots I was finding! Although, amazingly, I ended up with a par from here. I'd like to have seen the pros manage that, hah!

Thanks again to MB, and above all to Shiner for another great tourney. And congrats to Hans who, once again, has shown us all his mastery of this format. Bravo, Hans!

Good times Corwyn, dang you got a tough windset especially on the long holes.

But heck, you pulled a Justin Rose and parred 18 into that nasty wind, nice!

    Hello everybody,

I am in a very sad mood about posting the following as I totally respect mnshiner for his motivation and his will to do as good as possible with his tournaments. He was always very kind and full of respect for all players and a very good player himself.

Sadly, my price still hasn't been payed out and mnshiner stopped all messages with me quite a while a go without any reason or notice. As his profile page still shows activity, a lack of that can't be the reason for it.

Does anyone of you know what might have happened to him?

    Cheers, Hans

I too am sad and surprised to hear of this.

Unfortunately, I can't shed any light. I messaged Shiner as soon as I saw your post Hans, to see what's up, but haven't heard back from him either.

Hopefully, this is just a matter of difficulty in connecting over the summer...

                                                     bump

I doubt very much this has anything to do with Hans leaving, but 5000 credits is a tidy sum.

Is nothing being done about it.

If people wanna post up Community tournaments then some guarantee of receiving prizes should be offered.
