Yep, seems a bit petty to be all nosed up and self righteous over 2 coins.

    Nobody was.

Whats the difference between buying an avatar or buying a golf bag. Nothing. yet we  accept  avatars?
Difference is, an avatar is inevitable while the bag adds an artificial item (ugly furtheron IMHO) to the scenery and spoils the nice HD pictures.

    Really?

You dont think the below comments are a critiscism from a stance of  perceived superiority?

I can't imagine why anyone would buy a golf bag.

Me neither. I guess some people like throwing away their credits.

Likening a $4 golf bag to a $54m house is a poor analogy aimed at indicating frivolous spending of wealth without any consideration to whats relative or not.

I  also  don't  think  anyone who has bought a bag has 'thrown away' any credits.

If someone wants a bag, let them, Why judge the person because of your own perception of $4 waste?

.. after all it is only your perception.

Then again I suppose $4 goes a long way to the next pair of shoes hey?

& if the bags came before the avatars? would the bags be 'inevitable' and the avatars ugly artifice?

I've seen some downright ugly avatars which have been the topic of many humorous jibes.

& these Avatars cost a lot more, and do the same thing.

If playing was only possible with a bag, yes, it would be inevitable.

I am somewhat bemused at how this thread has altered course. The OP just suggested adding new colours for the golf bags with just cause. However it has digressed into whether or not they are a waste of credits.

Many would say buying clubs and balls is also a waste so it comes down to what you want. If a virtual bag that does nothing but sit there makes the purchaser happy, then IMO is it well spent. But it is a choice, no-one is forcing anyone to buy a bag, avatar or even balls or clubs.

We do it because we love the game and I find it somewhat judgemental to base your opinions if that person is wasting credits regardless on whether or not someone elected to buy a bag.

Looking at many players profiles the bags have been a commercial success for WGT so there is no right or wrong, just a choice.

    I beg to differ.

"Bag before avatar" means "with bag, without avatar" would be possible. ;)

And, for goodness' sake, don't go into more detail of clothing stages - the last confession was about more than I'd stand!
