Again, the only thing they released towards higher level players is that great putter, that of course i cant afford right now, but the new Cally driver is nice, but aimed at lower levels, just wondering when are going to think of us upper level players, yes we have the R11 driver, dont mishit or your in the tall stuff, got to wait to 94 for the R11s, and the driver of drivers the R1 till 98, thats a while for me, and we still only have the R11s irons, yes i heard and seen they are great irons, but only if you can keep up with that meter, and some of us, just me i suppose do not do well with faster metered clubs, hand eye coordination i guess, but god that putter looks phenomenal. This is only my opinion, please dont bash me again for stating an opinion.

    goldeena:

Yes, the distances are 15, 30, 60 and 100 for the ranges that matter - and that's the problem for 10" notebook users like myself, we need the 15, 25, 50 and 100 increments to better fit with the 50mm on screen swing meter that we get - the max master has similar increments as this new one but with extra 10, 20 (instead of 15), 40 and 80 ranges too - and it's still incompatible with my current screen size - so I am saving it until I buy a bigger screen that I can plug in to this notebook. The new putter seems like a pointless addition from where I'm standing - disappointed here :-(

    WGT - can you release something with 10, 15, 25, 50, 75 and 100 please.

Thanks for the info on the ranges, not sure I would even consider it without a 10 foot range.  Seems to me that should be the most common range every putter should have.

It has the same precision but better balance and slightly more forgiveness.

Actually the 92 Ghost has 1/2 dot more in precision with 1/2 dot less balance. IMO, that precision is the most important but the added balance may be a factor.

What is the significance of the "Balance" rating?

    Thanks!

That goes to the putt's tendency to hold the line on longer putts. Think of it this way-take a balsa wood stick with a balsa wood club head and imagine what it would take to make a putt with it. It would be so light that you'd have to actually muscle your way through the ball. Then compare that to a light shaft with a heavier head that is weighted and balanced so nice all you have to do is hold on to it, it just about swings itself.  :-)

@Deena-I think you're making a mistake forsaking those higher scales, especially on your screen limitations. Look at learning how small the back swing is when you use them for shorter putts. My 300 foot scale is really good for 38-44 foot putts and the 150 scale works good for 18-22 footers (Legend and TL greens.)

It's very tempting to buy.  I'm close to pulling the trigger on it.  I'm currently using the L35 ghost and was going to wait for the level 77 Nike or the 92 Ghost.  What do I do?

I'm a Callaway/odyssey fan in real life.  So I'll get it just for that reason lol.

I want the Cally driver too, but know its a waste of credits when I have the R11s and the R1 is only one more level away.

Maybe??   By the time I even reach L98, we will see a higher level Cally driver.  FINGERS crossed ;-)

I've had my lv 55 Rossa for so long I thought I'd never use another until I rented this baby and made some incredible long range drains . . . super fine putter

For the moment little discouraged to play and my bad putting skill  is the major factor.

Maybe this new level70 putter is good for me, but too expensive...

I can't see any of the higher level putters being bought any more.

    I agree.

I feel WGT have shot themselves in the foot since bringing in these anti sandbagging measures.

We are now seeing top end equipment in the lower levels. Which is now giving the sandbaggers better equipment and has defeated the whole purpose of restricting the clubs by levels.

This putter at L33 is almost twice the price of anything around it and the L70 is similar.

Somone at WGT is is saying "right , lets stick it in at L? and price it at $? to fill the void"

WGT must have lost a % of their sales under level 70ish?

Where are the majority of active player's?

The levels are now there to sell equipment mainly TM and below. Anything below the tips the assemblance of weaponry is awe inspiring! All about $NOW, get em hooked rip em quick and then who cares, nothing about rewarding good loyal player's.  Even if they only made everything open at TL who could argue with that much! All very short sighted!

The new putter behaves essentially the same as the L80 MAX BTW. Few less (nice to have) increments and a slower meter! Spec's are accurate, no surprises to be had!
