I didnt really see a " Ask advice " Section so i thought id ask here.

I recently bought myself the level 32 + r11's ( Will upgrade to g20's at 58 ) And my scores have been improving, shot a few under par rounds.

But my advice is what can i do to actually make a difference, my big problems seems to be i cant ever ping on the putter, and when i do, i cant seem to hole anything ( 6 holes in a row had birdie chances from within 15ft ) Missed them all, then went bogey bogey double, followed by birdie par birdie. I feel if i can capaltise on these i can improve, but ive been trying for awhile. And i am really struggling with the wind.

The r11s where a big help on my distance issue ( Alot of par 4s i couldnt even touch in 2 )

Any advice on wind / putting / in the rough. I have read as much as i can, and have tried but i cant seem to quite get there.

Your clubs will result in a very fast meter, in combination with the Starter balls. Try the cheapest ball available (10 cr/sleeve) and experience the difference.

Advice on putting: Practice, practice, practice, get the balls close first, they will drop eventually!

    Work on certain things first:)

Start with hitting the green...so, as a TP you have some idea of how the wind plays and how to correct for it...so instead of trying to ding the shot..work on hitting (after you aim) before the ding on left right winds, on Right to left...error on caution as well,,try for the ding, probably will go past, yet shot will be much better than hitting it early:)

Read the putting and chipping guides under the FAQ's..to help you move forward.

Great advice from MB and advice I wish I had got early on regarding missed dings and wind..

The areas that will have a huge impact on your game will both take time and practice - your short game and putting. As MB said - read the guides under FAQ. And try all shots and take notes - some shots tend to work well on some courses and not so well on others,

Not sure whether you are struggling reading the line or getting the speed right with putting but there are good posts on both - just search the forums.

And I agree with the ball - any ball will be better than the starters, spin is limited with a starters ball and they will help to hold the greens better.

Sadly there are no magic formulas or wands we can wave, just hard work and practice.

    Enjoy the journey.

Kratan. I've sent you a friend invite. We'll have a game and I can go through things while we play. See you soon.
