Ah thats what l did, was questioning the pins at Merion are hard to see, someone suggested turning on flag animation, no problem, just thought it was something they done on the update!

I suppose everyone has been assaulting Merion, i just played a best of hardest holes back 9, with moderate wind and for the first time the flags were actually blowing, a bit more than moderate but was quite amusing to see for the first time!
Flag animations in game client menu tab you can turn them on or off.
