So I went from tour pro to master, dropped 100 bucks on new equipment/balls, got my WGT nation invite (hurray?), and dropped less than 2 strokes. Essentially the 100 bucks in clubs and balls negated being further back in tee placement. About 24 balls later, many of which were brand new when WGT (worlds greatest treadmill) sucked them into a water hazard or out of bounds I've decided this game sucks and I should give others fair warning. If you don't want to waste time and money consider where you will be in 4 months, wallet it lighter and nothing to show for it. Never have I played a game where progress was not made and I've been a gamer for 30 years. Now, if your in it for the long hall, and have the time and skill to win tournaments, the treadmill wont cost you anything out of pocket, until then, be prepared to do surveys (is that a joke?) or spend some of your hard earned money. Overall, I think WGT has a decent game, their business model is a joke, albeit a probably successful joke, as people get sucked in. Once in a while I will check back to see if the joke has changed, until then, enjoy.

    There ya have it folks.

If a 30-year gamer cannot master WGT in 6 months, it must be true.

This might be a bit late but did you clear your flash cache after putting the new gear in your bag?   One of the quirks of this game is that flash player will keep the stats for your old clubs and you may not get the full benefit from new ones unless you clear the cache.  If you go here and either delete all sites or find      media5.wgt.com   in the list and just delete that.  It's advisable to do this after every equipment change and every WGT update, if not more often.

My first club upgrade didn't do much for my game either but they were way worse clubs that you now have.  I haven't tried the G20's as I was already using R11 gear when they came out but I hear great things about them.

When you say you dropped 2 strokes, I assume you mean your average has come down 2 shots since getting those clubs?  That's not bad depending how many ranked rounds you've played with them.

Looking at your score history and stats I would say you need to work on parts of your game a bit, your driving stats are fine but greens in regulation is well down and average distance to pin is a bit high.  Sorry if I sound condescending, that's not my intention, I just don't want you to quit because things are going bad, with practice and a good read through the forums you can improve a hell of a lot.

You're right that this is a great game, it really is.  It has it's faults but of all the online games I've tried and in some cases sunk a fair bit of money into, this one has kept me interested by far the longest.

It sounds cheesy but keep at it, you haven't been here that long so don't expect too much.

I feel like I've been playing WGT for 30 years and I'm still getting sucked into something.

Quite what that something is I don't know but it's happening.

It don't look like you sunk 100 bucks into the game? The clubs that you are useing for every club can't be more tham 50 bucks.

Watching live gamer ads or doing surveys, I don't thinks I have invested 100 bucks in the year and a half I have been here, I don't know lol.

Sorry to hear you think it sucks (wgt) , I don't think it's a bad game, better than that GD internet poker that I got "sucked" into lol.
