Hello my fellow WGT Troglobites, i am seeking expressions of interest in a new social club for people who are so addicted to this game that they never leave their room and go so far as to leave all ambiant light off to allow their eyes to lock onto that sexy dingaling bar.

This Club will be called Troglobites International

Club members will socialize in either temporary voice chat rooms hosted through several different voice chat programs. Or for the visually inclined we will host various free audio and visual rooms through a few free video programs and if their is enough interest we can provide ourselves high def for a small fee.

The club will run as a complete democracy, with a sliding majority vote scale based on where each issue scores on an importance and risk matrix.

I Would like to tell you a little about my recruitment process, please know that while it does seem like a lengthy process, i am confident that this method will recruiting will insure only the highest caliber of social experience.

Mr recruitment process is designed to enable us to select creative, innovative people who have passion and potential. Selection is based on a combination of your skills, competencies, experience and motivation.

There will be a systematic approach for selecting candidates by way of competency-based interviews. We also guarantee that when you apply for membership at Troglobites International, you can be sure that your application will be treated confidentially and impartially.

What to expect at each stage of the recruitment process

    Stage one:  Opportunity and application

Once you have submitted your character reference and 500 word personal biography letter online, we will acknowledge receipt of your application by email and advise you as to the outcome of your application.

    Stage two: Initial telephone interview

If your profile matches what we are looking for, a member of our recruitment team will contact you. If necessary, an initial telephone interview will be arranged to enable us to find out more about you.

    Stage three: First-round interviews

If we consider that you are a potential candidate for membership, you will be invited to attend face-to-face interviews.

You will be interviewed by a panel consisting of randomly selectet members. The aim of this interview is to understand your golf career interests, your educational background, skills, competencies and experience, and what motivates you to succeed at WGT.

During those interviews, you will be asked specific questions about those competencies (both technical and behavioural) which are linked to the core application requirements. We will also ask you to give concrete examples of specific shot situations which you have encountered, how you dealt with them and the final outcomes of those shots.

These interviews will focus solely on your playing capabilities. We want to hear about your previous experiences, challenges and accomplishments. This will also be a chance for you to ask questions and to find out if this is the right club for you.

    Stage four: Assessments

We may invite you to participate in a short psychometric assessment which allows us to better understand your motivation and how you behave around groups of people.

In some cases, we may further invite you to attend an assessment day during which you will complete various aptitude tests. These assessments test a variety of capabilities including putting equations, calculating lie effects, shot selection and club selection.

While no decision is made solely on the basis of these tests, they form part of the overall process and provide us with another source of objective information with which to assess candidates.

    Second-round interviews:

Should you complete the first round successfully, you will be invited to participate in a second round of interviews. At this stage, you will be asked to give a 15 minute presentation on why you think Troglobites International is for you.

    Reference check

You will be asked for details of your past clubs. We will ask your referees to answer questions about your previous tenureship, your people skills and behaviour wile playing.

    Selection decision

Our selection panel will post their report on our forums and the community as a whole will vote.

Once you have been selected you will be sent you a comprehensive list of members and will be provided with download links and private chat room addresses.

    Induction

You will participate in the structured Troglobites induction programme, which aims to help all new members settle into their new club in a way that sets them up for success and allows them to become active members of Troglobites International as quickly as possible.

But, you outline everything you WANT, but offer nothing in return.

    Before I submit my application could you please detail for me;

    • Membership criteria - demographic of expected membership.
    • Troglobite International history & Disclosure Statement & T&C's
    • Official handicap format
    • Membership fee - including family or group membership
       -Annual subscription
      - Payment options
    • Expected benefits & value of membership.
    • Loyalty discounts
    • Gym and restaurant facilities - Detailing Chef and PT qualifications
      - Locker rooms and facilities
    • Monthly, Quarterly and Annual prize pools
    • Pro Shop discounts.
    • Age and features/ accessories of carts
    • Access to driving ranges and putting greens
    • Pro training / coaching
    • Junior Academy?
    • Annual tournament agenda
    • Interclub tournaments - detailing accommodation and travel discounts with other Troglobite International clubs
    • Complimentary items.

    Please understand my trepidation here.
As you are not entirely active within your existing Country Club neither playing your Club Tournaments or involved in the Club Lounge or interacting with your Club Members.
Do you feel that your existing Club Membership may in fact be under scrutiny & subject to a cancellation of membership?

I really don't understand this. If it's a joke then it isn't funny, but if it's serious then it's ill conceived. Who would possibly want to write out a 500 word essay to join a club with no history with an owner who seems to have no knowledge of how to run a club.

I think someone has had this criteria presented to himself in his own, job search?  & felt it was humourous to copy and paste it into the WGT Forums.
