IF someone asked you for your overall opinion on the

    PING 2010 Rapture V2

    Iron Set GraphiteL48+

Still relatively new on buying equipment as I used generic all the way up to level 42.

Each iron set seems to play drastically different in a multi variety of ways

What would be your overall impression of this club and how it plays

    in the wind

     true forgiveness factor

,does it on average seem to hit farther,

or come up shorter then the amount of yards you are trying to achieve.

I am using the Callaway 250 credit balls

The irons I had b4 this were the 45 credit ones.

Any tips or any knowledgeable input would be considered greatly!!!!

    Gl on the greens

    Hi

I used that set for a long long time. It has slower meter and is more forgiving than others. But, it's less precise and doesn't fly as high ans has less backspin.

Back then, I did pretty well with it and was able to overcome (with alot of practice) the differences.

    I would recommend it.

Many many of us used those all the way up to master when master was the highest tier. The lower precision can be overcome with practice and the higher forgiveness. The one draw back is what makes them look so good to a lot of people. The slower meter speed might make it a little harder when you have to go with clubs that have faster meter speeds. But even with that draw back I would agree with Icon and highly recommend them. Also if you have higher level wedges you will have faster meter speeds with them so that might help with the transition when you have to go to the faster meter speed clubs.

I'd say, as a level 49 Amateur you might want to stick with your equipment and perhaps wait until level 59 @88,515 XPs to obtain the G20 clubs, or other more elevated ones. The only club to change urgently right now would be the Starter SW - another Ping would really help your game.

If you want to save some credits, change to Tour SD balls or Srixons.

Having used them myself for a while the big thing I think is you have to learn how much roll out each shot will have. Most of the time I used 100%bs which gave be better control.

+1 wait till lvl 60ish for the g20s full set.

I bought the K15s around lvl 40ish and wish I had waited - youll move up pretty quickly.  Get a putter and some wedges while your at it.  lvl 33 ghost will be a huge improvement and the ping wedges are inexpensive but will help your ability to score well.

Just drop the hybrid and get 3 nicely spaced wedges. The rest can wait until you reach master.

Used the raptures for much of my early career. I found that adding 5 to the distance with bs worked well

    My opinion is:

    First:

    G20 Iron Set (Steel) (L59+)

    after that:

    RocketBladez Iron Set (Steel) (L79+)

    And finally:

TaylorMade R11 Iron Set (Steel) (L90+)

    That would be my choice.
