ALT game: Please show equipment bar under person

  hi,

  In Alt game you are as good as your equipment in 90% of the cases. if a person has r11 iron and nike ball , he can't go wrong in most cases.

  I think showing irons and ball makes it better match up players.

  for example below 90 legends struggle more than 90legends because long distance and shorter club. But also some poor legends use weaker clubs.

  its easier to make even matchup based on clubs more than tier.

  classy..lol

   

  showing equip in matchplay would be nice, don't think its neccessary in alt or other formats.

   

  If you really need to know, you can go to wgt community->wgt players-> search for the player and find out that way before starting.

  Hogwash. The equipment doesn't take the shot for you. A good player knows their clubs and plays to them. There's players out there with top everything that have no game just as there are players with lesser equipment that own this game. To pick a partner because he has the newest and best is folly.

  Normally I would agree but there can be the odd exception to the rule. I rocked up one A/S game having played with my starters kit in a game before and forgot to change my equipment. But it was one of the funniest games I have played, lost on the 9th.

  I play with a variety of tiers in Alt and regardless of lower tier players having top equipment, half of them still suck lol. It is the player, not the equipment that hits the shots as YJ says.

  Yup, look at me as a case in point.

  I got all the gear, but only play it well 1/3 of the time  :)
