Thank you everyone for your input. By the way, a;though I officially joined in 2010, I didn't start playing until late last year, so it isn't as bad as it looks on my stats

And, I just made Tour Master!

I appreciate all the input, but most seem to miss the point that there are such varying degrees of skill at each tier. I guess I have been exceptionally unlucky lately to get very unskilled players with basic clubs, balls and skills frankly. Once in a while, it is to be expected, I agree, and can help to develop your own skills as well. I always try to teach someone something if they want it., like a good flop shot..but usually they ignore me and don't want to hear it. I don't know if it is because I am female or not!

But you must admit, consistently having partners frequently who chip 25 ft past the hole as if it is normal, don't apologize or anything, and expect you to putt for par is frustrating! And frankly, shouldn't happen at that level. Does anyone understand what I am saying?

I  just want to have FUN! A little of that goes a long way! Every time you play A/S is just too frustrating ! We should be able to see more about their equipment, skills, etc before we commit.

Okay, I have said my piece! And Peace everyone!

One thing you can do is initiate a conversation around the different shots and strategies. Ask a player how they did that when you see a good shot. Get them feeling easy about sharing tips. Some players would love to know stuff but are afraid to ask, for whatever reason. AS games are a great place to learn stuff as well as teach others. It's all about sharing the wealth of knowledge and experience.  :-)

I know what you are saying Ms Cat. Some men just don't like being given advice by a woman.
