unplayable lie

    I got behind a large dirt bank, onthe 18th at Maron and could ot get over it or around! I used 4 difernt clubs and nohing worked. I finaly ran ut of shots . What should I have done.Can you take  drop ?

    did you try a punch shot...the pitch and sometimes a full hit wont work....if you didnt try the punch try that next time...it'll get you out of places the others shots wont

    your 64 degree wedge with about 3/4 backspin in punch mode. from there it's a matter of yardage.

    Some times you have to hit sideways...and even backwards.

    Sadly,  no drop provision in this game, but often a drop does not solve the problem as you are dropping in the same area.

    I am not sure where you were but always play percentages - first try to get the ball back on the fairway, second to try and get it as far up the fairway as possible. So punch shots work well as a recovery and sometimes you have to play sideways or even back. Depending on the height of the bank even your most lofted club will not clear the obstruction - hence the sideways and backwards options.

    Chalk it up to experience, learn and move on.

    did you try hitting towards the fairway or hole? sometimes when you are in a bad spot, you cannot go for the hole but must first hit out to the safely.

    You need to move the aim marker and even though avatar will not move the ball will be played in the direction you aim. Looks odd but it does work and will save you shots.
