    WigerToods2010:

    Hi Eric,

I'm sure others will tell you different, but this is what works for me:

You say you aren't too sure about installing etc.

Clicking here will automatically download  an older stand alone  version for you to try. (It's in a zip file format). Once downloaded, right click and hit 'show in folder' - extract the files using something like 'winrar' or '7zip'.

Once installed open chrome and type the following in chrome://plugins

You should see a page open similar to this.......

Create a shortcut on your desktop that opens the 'old version' of chrome (program may well install one itself).

When you install an older version of flash you tend to get an annoying pop up warning you that it is indeed out of date and may not work on some sites. To avoid this happening you need to type a thing called a  'flag' into the properties of your desktop shortcut that you use to open chrome (mine's opens on my wgt profile).

Hover over the shortcut and right click on it till a window opens. At the bottom of the opened window you'll see 'properties' - click it. Where it says 'Target:' you'll see the address of the location of the flash you just installed contained within quotation marks. Directly after the last quotation mark type in one space and then the following : --allow-outdated-plugins

Should you find that sites like youtube don't work just enable the latest flash (pepper based) and disable the old one.

As I said previously it's worked thus far for me. All I'm doing is passing the info on before the 'clear your cache' brigade arrive.

Good luck - hope it works.

    My head's bursting noooo! lol

    :O)

Scott's post above may be easier. Wish I'd seen the ruddy thing before I started typing ..... lmfao

Thanks a lot Wiger. Here is my own conclusion:

The only way to show more then one Flash (Shockwave Flash) in my Chrome Plugins is, installing Chrome & then "Install a different version of Adobe Flash Player" after. If I try to Install the Flash 10.3.183.5 from your link, it does not show any new version of Flash to choose from in Chrome Plugins after installing.

I have no idea why but, the only way for me to have a very smooth meter with a "normal" speed is "disable" the second Flash 11.700 r700 and letting the PepperFlash untouched!!!...weird very, but it works.

@ Thebigeasy, big thanks m8, I did install Maxthon version from you link and somehow it works although the meter gets choopy once in a whie.

The most smooth & stable meter I can get is only with Chrome, as said before I have NEVER had any issue with the meter since I starting using it for a couple of years ago.

I will post here if I see any other problem or advantage too.

    Thank you all, Eric

I tried TBE's link as well, and yes, it is good,

If it gets choppy which mine did after a few holes, just close and reload ur browser, comes back smooth as soft butter.

It seems to me that because 100's maybe 1000's of Apps rely on Flash to run that could be the problem.

I'm sick of every new version of Flash comes out and we have to do something different to make this game run properly.

Maybe it's time for Wgt to find a way of running the game without Flash. If they can't... maybe tweak their systems (like all the other Apps) to help us play the game

    Just saying

Some browsers don't update flash. They don't have space-bar and spelling problems either. Nor do they have messaging problems . Just saying.

Even some of the ones that do update flash don't have all the other problems that Google Chrome has even though many of them are based on Chrome.

It did the trick :-)......disabling Pepperflash!! Thanks Scott. I actually did it for some months ago but forgot to mention it here :-/.

Now, it does not matter how many time my pc updates Flash, my meter runs slow & 95% smooth, of course by keeping the Pepperflash disabled.

Cheers Eric, I know it doesn't work for everyone but it's always nice to get positive feedback, thank you.
