hello - can anybody help me understand the balls attributes better? I understand what each attribute mean, but would like to know how to "calculate" them into play.

    especialy distance and durability:

how much of an additional distance will I get if the ball has 1 "dot" in that cathegory? +5%? 10%? how should I calculate it? is the increase linear? I mean - if 1 dot adds for example 5%, 2 dots would add 10%, 3 dots 15% etc?

the same with durability - do we know how many hits will ball with 1 "dot" in durability last? 100 hits? more? less? is the increase linear? will ball with 2 dots durability last 2x more hits than ball with 1 dot?

thanks in advance for your help (sorry for poor english, lol)

Your use of the English language is just fine. 8*)

I'll provide you with a ball durability chart some folks at the country club I play at worked at compiling earlier this year. As you can see, it remains unfinished, but it was fun to do (for me, at least). The chart provides helpful information for folks such as myself who depend solely on credits earned through surveys and videos to 'purchase' equipment.

The columns titled Durability and Hits reveal that the dots of durability WGT attributes to their own balls shows more than a bit of shoddy work on their part. There's no excuse for the posting of significantly inaccurate equipment attributes.

Soapbox Aside: Personally, my feeling is that as long as WGT continues to tag the game as in Beta, the lack of pride the company shows in some areas of the product they offer, as well as the general lack of respect they show their customers, will continue. I look forward to being proven wrong someday soon. Please prove me wrong, WGT. I enjoy your game as is, and I thank you. However, never cease improving it, and crapping on your customers is plain bad business. Soapbox Dismount...

So far as distance per 'dot' is concerned, I can't help you. There are too many variables involved. I take the 'dots' attributed to each ball as approximations only, and test a sleeve with the clubs I use on a variety of courses and in a variety of playing conditions in order to assess which ones perform best for me. I will share one oddity I found: the WGT B-XD has only one dot for distance, but it plays much longer than I'd ever expected. So much so that I always keep a sleeve around for when I want to give my reflexes a good workout while still being able to shoot under par.
