  I noticed in the news that we're getting a 9 hole best of Bandon Dunes par 3 course.

  I have 1 question. If you're going to Bandon Dunes to take photo's of the par 3's then while you're there why don't you take photo's of the rest of it so we can have the full courses?

  i believe it is full 18 hole stroke play daz 

  probably because we didnt get the last 2 open courses

  That would be so cool!  I just received this email from Bandon Dunes:  

   

  "Bandon Dunes has teamed up with the World Golf Tour, the #1 online golf game, to put our courses in the hands of online players around the world. 

  But we need your help.

  We’re asking our fans to help us choose their favorite par-3 holes that will be included in a 9-hole course. Any par-3, any course, tell us which one is your favorite."

   

  Sounds like it will be a composite course from the 4.7 courses in their golf complex.

  From the newws page:

  Bandon Dunes has decided to create a 9-hole, par-3 course based on players' favorite par-3’s at the Resort. So they’re letting players vote on which of their favorite holes will be included. The 9 par-3 holes that get the most votes will be launched in early 2014 on WGT as a full stroke play course, free of charge.

  I am with dazza on  this one. The par 3 courses are fun, but still not the same as a full 18 stroke play. Another disappointing announcement.

  Here's the US Open schedule until 2020.  We already have Oakmont, so maybe British Open course in 2016? Bandon Dunes isn't on the list, so expect only CTTH/Blitz version.

  Both Pinehurst & Pebble Beach have been CTTH/Blitz courses on WGT for some time. but maybe we get the full Pinehurst layout next year?

  Wouldn't it be super fantastically brilliant if you logged on to Wgt 1 day in early 2014 and there was all 5 courses from that complex available to play. I'd be like a kid in a candy store with the excitement and so would every other player on this site.

  i agree daz i would probably play this game every spare minute of the day again like i used too. i got really excited at 1st then realized 

  early next year oh :(

  then... only par course  oh. :(

  On top of that disappointment, it also sounds the death knell for Muirfield and probably any other course in 2013.
