There's a cost factor that's jumping out here. The course is a day trip from WGT HQ and par 3s don't need a bazillion pics to cover the shot possibilities. Do the math.  :-)

I've read the 8 pages so far, and seems only a HANDFUL of players (the usual wgt army) want a par 3 course.  The VAST MAJORITY want a 18 hole STROKE PLAY course, not a glorified CTTH course like Brandon Hills Dunes would be. (thats how un-interested i am.lol)   Whats so hard in giving the customer what they really want?  Not a token gesture like a par 3 course.  Yes i might play It if It arrived, but just like the par 3 we have all ready, It wouldn't be as often as a 18 hole NORMAL course.

I dont want to sound ungrateful either, but If the deal Brandon Goon gave WGT was only a par 3 course, the best thing was for Mrr WGT to say "thank you, I'll keep It in mind for another occasion" and get on the phone and call the countless other courses there are in USA, or any where else in the world.  heck, you could even come and stay with me for free and photo the lovely Royal Harlech Links course, or other local courses.  Any where would do as long as It was a NICE 18 HOLE STROKE PLAY COURSE.  I've said It on numerous occasions, WGT seem to use a totaly different logic to the regular players, and we all dont understand it.  Since It was released I think I've played manele once, i see Brandon Dunes being the same.  Give me 18 hole tru golf course over par 3's any day, but a 18 hole HD course then NOW WE'RE TALKING.  Give the consumer what we really want, then there wouldn't be the 8 pages of complaints, EVERY ONE WOULD BE HAPPY.......AT LAST!

If Its a cost issue, I'm sure if the elite players could all donate $100 out of their credits.  If 1000 of us donated $100 each then there's 100,000 raised right there.  I'm in!  Even a 50c green fee could be implemented on a new course.  I'm sure players wouldn't mind paying to play a new course.

    No we don't. What we have is a Best-Of, an amalgam, a mixture, a unity, a fusion, a blend, an incorporation, a mingling, a selection, a mélange, a pot pourri, a hotch-potch, a conglomerate, a jumble, a mish-mash, a pastiche, an assortment, a farrago or even a gallimaufry. But we don't have a COURSE.

Back to type as per - selecting the line that suits your POV.

Not so much cutting to suit, more like cutting the cr*p. You were the one that butted in when I made clear that we DON'T have a par 3 course. That was my original post. Get it?

Are you serious? You don't raise $100,000, you just reduce the amount of fake money in circulation. The $ that those credits generated are long gone, spent on operations. A new course, 9 or 18, costs real money today, not after it's produced and put out for play. What happens when a new course shows up here? Ball sales might go up but what else is there to offset the copious amount of money spent getting the course produced? That's where the fluff in the Pro Shop comes in.

We can demand all we want, condemn the powers that be, rant about customers being right, etc., it all comes down to the money. Spend a ton to make millions happy and you're a broke hero. How does WGT make it profitable to them? It has to come from new players and the Pro Shop. A new course, albeit just a par 3, is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

Expectation management is important, that's where this has gone wrong, and that's a WGT error.

18 full holes are great, and without knowing the finances of WGT no idea how realistic or not this is - any does and states them, no guessing, or must be this or that, just fact then fantastic.

I do suggest WGT are clearer on how they state future intent to save the angst!

EDIT: FULL 18 best IMO, just wanted make that clear! But if that is not possible and scaled down then above is way2go!

You are as idiotic as your profile pic!

Courteney is the owner of one of the most, if not the most successful of all CC's.

She also has a very wide knowledge of this game from experience.

You start a war with her & you start a war with almost 250 of her loyal CC Members.

    Now go back to sleep
