Space bar in chat

  Several weeks ago I posted about space bar not working in chat. I did some research and with others directing me to previous posts, the conclusion was its an issue with google chrome. Here's my suggestion on how to improve your site. When you run a "pay for play" site,and yes it is pay, fix the bloody problems as they occur. Google isn't a flash in the pan company. I'm willing to bet there has been no attempt to resolve this nuisance problem. Its a WGT issue and WGT should stop promising to fix this issue and just do it!

  Well there are many that will agree with  you. Sadly though, WGT will continue to make excuses, blame it on your equipment or connection, and generally "stonewall" as they have in the past. They posted a "fix" for the space bar problem that I tried---it did not fix the problem. You could talk to MrWGT. , if you wish to spend like 100,000 credits.

  Did you try the fix again? If so, did you find that Pepper Flash was re-enabled? There's a fix for that too. From my profile blog:

  Upon restarting Chrome, or often simply opening a new tab, many users find that Chrome automatically and silently re-enables Pepper Flash, so their space bar stops working again. Here's a workaround for that issue, in Windows OS'es: after disabling Pepper Flash again per the instructions linked here then immediately exiting Chrome, go into the highest-numbered (##.##.####.##) folder in the path [drive]:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\[##.##.####.##], then into the PepperFlash folder there. Find the pepflashplayer.dll file and rename it to something else (such as pepflashplayer_dll.bak) as a backup. Then make a new empty text file in the same location, rename it as pepflashplayer.dll, then right-click on it and set it to read-only. Now any time Chrome tries to load the .dll, it finds the file non-functional, and can not automatically replace it... at least until the next time Chrome itself is updated to a higher version.

  if it is a wgt issue why does it only affect google chrome users?

  the best fix you can do is get rid off that piece of crap called google chrome and use a decent browser,i.e maxathon,comodo dragon,ironware,rockmelt etc

  tried maxathon, it seemed to have "stutter" issues on the meter-(let's not go there). Not heard of the last two. Game runs okay, just the space bar has an issue. I use Chrome for more than WGT.

  Tracy , this version of flash player works great and the space bar works  , 11,7,700,202 . go to Adobe and install it  , then disable the one you're using that contains pepper flash ...

  when the new version of flash player is downloaded there is no way to install into chrome...already tried that.....

  unless you know something that I dont know
