I really hope that WGT is hard at work to give us the multiplayer pre-game chat/lobby/game preview feature that is so sorely missing from this game, which will render the requests below moot. But in case they aren't:
When a player attempts to Join a multiplayer game, the search runs for (at most) 10 seconds or so, then times out. Sometimes when then choosing to "Search again", the search seems to terminate instantly. But when someone sets up as creator of a multiplayer game and waits for players, the game remains active for 5 minutes if the creator does not tee off -- then quits without warning and rudely dumps everyone back to the main menu. I would like to see:
A) The player attempting to Join a multiplayer game created by someone else should not have to put up with his search running for such a short time. It should run at least one minute, or better yet the same five minutes, to allow for joining games that get created while the search is running. Also, for those with more patience, there should be an option to extend the time, which appears when nearing the end (say final 30 seconds or so).
B) The creator of the multiplayer game (possibly joining players, too) should have a countdown clock display so as not to be taken by surprise when the timer runs out. This should also have an option for the creator to extend the time.
