UEL still sucks... :,-(

  when I saw the legend challenge thought
  you might have fixed the UEL but nope, it still sucks.
  still ridiculously unplayable from bunkers and rough,
  ball still banks violently from the slightest skews on the fairway,
  and still eats away too much distance from clubs,
  so that I need to hit a full 9 iron (135 yards) shot
  with no spin from 97 yards on the rough,to barely scratch
  the putting surface with a 90-92 yard shot.

  it really is a shame because I'd love the challenge,
  and the idea of planning shots even more is exciting
  but unfortunately the whole thing is still a joke.

  I do agree partially. However, the end result is much more realistic scores, so I sympathize with WGT on this one.

  Fairway lies are still a little too predictable and steep rough lies around the green, and bunker lies in general, are far too hard. But if it causes the winning scores to be at -4 or -5 instead of -17, I'm all for it.

  Must admit only tried it a couple of times a while ago and not for long.  I got the impression you could prolly learn it to some degree, but seemed so far removed from real angles I could not see any pleasure for me! To me it's several generation's away from being anything near perfected to really call it a sim of the real game................If other's enjoy it for what it is great!
