Since WGT base a player's Tier not upon a true average, but upon the player's x best rounds since achieving that tier (with x increasing non-linearly as the Tiers increase), could we get a display somewhere of a more accurate true average, say of our most recent y stroke-play rounds (with y being some appropriate fixed value), regardless of whether any of those rounds were much better or worse than our average, or any other criteria? Also, could we get a separation of 9-hole and 18-hole round averages?

No harm in asking (again as far as the forum's are concerned). As it stands they can't even get the par 3 stats out of the the ranked rounds...........................(:

The WGT moderators might answer "hear you and pass it to the responsibles" if they would, but I fear that you'd never hear anything else.

    Why should WGT do this?

They use the "best of" variation of the average, they don't need more.

If they'd create a USGA-like handicap like you want it, there would be countless threads on "why not our national handicap (which differs), why is this value better than the other, why isn't the other being used?", and they'd have to pay the programming with no revenue.

Excel or any other spreadsheet/database program is your friend, you can easily copy the scores from the history and paste and sort and analyse them to your liking. I do so for WGT's average, no probs!

    Edit:

BTW, your Tour Pro averages are:

    9 hole games 45.85, 20 scores

    18 hole games 79.75, 4 scores

These include some under Pro conditions, i.e. fast greens instead of the new "very fast".
