Ive been playing WGT for the past 3 weeks and loving it!!!

Just a few things Ive picked up where people seem to cheat on the game:

    1. Some people just dont play ranked rounds or tournaments. So playing against them in any format can be fustrating. I have however learnt that u should not only look at averages, but also levels. If someone is eg L95 and has an average 90 and is a hack, he either falls in this category or has the hand-eye-coordination of an ameoba.

    2. SKINS - this actually seemingly happened to me yesterday. Two guys starts a skin game and I join in. Then they team up via some form of communication eg Skype. Heres what happened.

    a. The first thing I noticed was that they almost everytime used up their 90sec on every shot!!! How fustrating. They were probably trying for me to forfeit.

b.When I was in contention on a hole then one of them played brillianty. They try to halve the hole. When I hit a bad shot one would hit a bad shot too, and the other would win the hole. I mean on two holes a Tour Pro missing a 2.4 and 4 foot putt to tie his partner, after Ive missed!! Too obvious.

    c. What me even more suspicious was the fact that when I played well they be full of compliments - but when one of the guys hit an EAGLE nothing was said.

    d. Adding to (a) - Both used both their time expiries and one stroke penalty warning (did not matter because the other had already tied atleats). They used the excuse that one's niece and the other's daughter were bugging them.

    e. One was eventually disqualified after 7 holes but I still dont know what happened to the credits from the 2 skins he won. I thought he would forfeit that as well.

    3. In another skins game the player hit the ball in the water hazard on the 8th hole and then disconnects - after 2.20 he reconnects and makes if it was just bad luck.

Has anyone encountered similiar problems? Is there anything one can do? Has WGT done anything to counter such people? Maybe a way of bringing such people under the spotlight. Currently the only solutions Ive found is complaining here.

Tx for the help guys. Still enjoying the game tho, just wary of skins.

For someone who as only been playing for three weeks you seem to know a lot about cheating. Add to that your know how around the forums and the nearly thirty dollars you have won in that time PLUS the low thirty scores. What was your question again???

Thank you alosso for joining the conversation. If you look at all my posts you will see i have never stated falsehoods about any player. To sum up.... I know what i stated is 100% fact or i would not have wrote it. I do not even care it does not impact me. Just did not like the kettle calling the pot black!!!!

Nevertheless, I see no proof here.

Edit: Not even a link to a proof.

@Blackgibbon Maybe you are the ameoba I was refering to in my original post. Or maybe I am the Tiger of WGT? Who knows? The fact of the matter is that I tried to point out a problem I encountered, and see if someone has something too add.

Maybe if you spent less time in the forums dissing people and entered tournaments you could also be better in this game.

For the others here thanks for your support. Was thinking maybe stating hours spent "in game" would be useful to solve the problem. What do you think?
