    Regarding Infinito's poll on having a tourney over 2 weeks, my vote is NO !

    I think that if a player have decided to enter a tourney then there must be a commitment to play their rounds within a given period.  Stretching a tourney over 2 full weeks would make players lose interest due the long period between rounds.  More importantly It also mean that this Tour won't finished for another at least 5-6 months ! lol !

    The only problem I can see here is the difficulty for players to find a convenient time to hook up with their designated partner for the last round during Friday and the weekend, where I noticed a lot of players are busy and don't play much. I think there must be a better solution to this problem.

    Hi Tour players;

    Just taking a look at the preliminary responses, indicates 1 week tournaments only.  As for the solution.  There is only one.  If one signs up for the tour, then one knows the commitment required.  We are all quite busy of late, especially with the RG, weekly and monthly tournaments, as well as CC commitments.

    Thus, I would stress, if you signed up for the tour, then you understand the commitment required.

    Pre-assigned pairings.

    There is one other option worthwhile exploring.  Pre-assigned pairings.  This means you play with the same individual for your final round for each tournament.  Note, if your partner doesn't show up, then you'll forfeit the tournament.

    Let me know who will volunteer for this option.

    I would suggest having a few "designated markers" in the event that you and your scheduled playing partner have scheduling conflicts. Could get a few names of people who are online a lot who would possibly agree to play as a marker for someone in circumstances like the above. I'm waiting for my partner to show right now, hopefully he does :)

    P.S...Shadow, was it really necessary to go and shoot 29 in the ready go I was leading and beat me by 1? really? lol :)

    My partner and i haven't been able to work out a time together, and as he isn't online would anyone be willing to mark for me?  If so please shoot me an invite.

    read coolswings post that is exactly how i feel

    you cant be committed to play , well dont sign up then , no-one is making you do something you dont want to and it ruins it for everyone that wants to play.
