OH THE SUSPENSE! Thank you to Lisa for marking my final round, was a great pleasure. Well, for starters, I had an out of body experience, played probably the best all together round of my WGT career, save for a complete choke on the approach on the last hole.....I had a flawless meter, for like the first time ever, dinged nearly every shot I hit, heck, my avg distance to the hole was 5.8ft lol. Started out with a missed birdie from about 8ft on #1, same thing on #2 so I was thinking, "here we go again". But I drained one on #3 and that started a string of 5 in a row. So now I'm 1 shot ahead on #17, I try to play it smart, fat part of the green on the left side with a choke down 3wd, hit it perfect, leaving a 22ft putt for birdie, 2 putts I make par. Then on to the 18th, right before I tee off Lisa says to me "The stage is yours", and I hit a perfect drive up the right side, leaving 182 after calcing the elevation/wind. I thought about laying up short and trying to hit a wedge close for par, but I figured hey, no guts no glory...I choked big time lmao, missed the ding by a full inch, sent my shot into the short bunker on the right side, 22 yards from the hole in 30-40% sand. Here we go, time to pull one outta your butt, and that I did...hit it 3.5ft just left and under the hole, leaving me the scariest 3 footer ever, but I managed to make it, gave it a fist pump at the end! This tour is awesome. 30 for me in my final round, my best round, ever.
