    Round 1 for vic and i Dubia,great playing again mate,not much happened for vic on first four holes then he exploded into life with a strong finish,and still left birdies out there,my flatstick was working well today for a change until the last that is but thats golf. Its certainly a challenge with irons only,but had fun with a fine player thanks Vic for the invite mate.

    And congratulations on a fine win in the pga last week mate.

    Yoda took a stroll with me at Oakmont for my round 1.  His was practice.  All wasn't too bad until the last hole.  Don't leave yourself 70 straight below the hole, nasty place to putt from.  There is a gully right there, the dots move back and forth so many times it's very hard to tell which way the ball is gonna break.

    Here is my (Yoda79) round 1 scorecard with "ThunderBoltz" marking. I had an incredible round with some luck. I was at the 15th at -2. My approach shot came up short of the green by 26yds. So I break out my trusty wedge and I was trying to decide what type of shot to hit. The green slopes alot there so chipping was out. I though about pitching but finally decided on the flop shot. I aimed far left of the pin. I hit it at about 90% power and wouldn't you know it hit the green, bounced twice, and rolled right in for a unbelieveable birdie. Birdied the next 2 holes. But on the 18th my par attempt lipped out. But I'm happy with my fianl score. Thanks again to thunder for marking for me.

    Hi RU and Dhanisch

    Nice rounds both.  Good to see players getting into the spirit of the Tour.  Have fun above all else.

    Hi Members;

    The Tour is designed to have fun with all the different course and equipment restrictions.  You are not always hitting the same shot all the time, thus reducing the repetitive nature and make it interesting as well as challenging.  Yes at times there will be challenging conditions and conditions to score well also.  If you have any ideas that can make the tour interesting drop me a line.

    But don't forget, one of these days you may see something like this on equipment;

    1. [Master no Drivers][Starter Balls Only]
    2. [Starter clubs and balls]
