I was thinking and after discussion with some of my country club members, of several ways that we can enhance the country club format.

1st. The inclusion of a match play option to allow for for members to pit there skills against each other, and also spend a little time with other members getting to know them. This could also be extended to an alternate format allowing for a bit more camaraderie.

2nd. A championship between clubs. or a way of contacting other clubs and arranging matches against them.

3rd. An extra channel exclusive to each club to alow members to communicate with other, even while playing in diffeerent matches. This too would enhance the club atmosphere.

    4. A way of increasing the prize money clubs are allowed to place for each competition.

Please post your own comments and suggestions to these ideas, I look forward to hearing other peoples views.

Match play definitely...not enough formats, it tends to get a bit boring with the 2 formats available,,Handicap system which i hear WGT  is introducing, Club lobby chat...Club Skins...and access to more courses , i can't see why only some courses are CTTH..the same ol courses really to get tiresome...

It would be nice to have all those things made easier but they are all achievable now. You can arrange match-play, inter-club, voice messaging and prizes as large as you like using an equipment gifting or losing in a challenge game method. They are workarounds but they work pretty well.

The cc I belong to has its own website that includes a chatbox that can be moved to a WGT game so that members of the club can chat while playing others. I have also skyped with golfing buddies while playing others. Both are great options. Certainly an advantage to consult with your partner while playing an AS match and not have the other side privy to the plan.

Just an FYI, this method is being frowned upon by WGT in their updated TOS.

I'm surprised they care very much about this, they still get their cut even if the match is fixed to allow credits to be exchanged.

I wouldn't do it but that's because I resent the high percentage WGT nicks off you, not for any moral reason.

Still hoping to see you green one day, would love a game.

Hey Hack, fancy seeing you here.  Nice plug for the website.  I'd be a big fan of allowing people to watch other matches.  Whoever sets up the game would have the option to allow visitors or not, to let them use the chat box or not and the ability to kick/ban them from the game.  In the new CC part of the game client, perhaps a lobby of current matches in progress to join.

    Just a thought.
