I don't know how it can be done, and probably neither does WGT or anyone else, but something needs to happen to bring this simulation more into line with reality. There is far too large a gap between the best and worst players here, and it seems to me that most of it is the best players shooting impossibly low scores.

The IRL gap between the best and worst is much larger.

Even if you just look at the difference between the best and the average, it's much larger IRL.  A truly average golfer wouldn't average below 100 on Merion under US Open conditions and playing 100% according to the rules.

Scot...bare with me for a second...keep an open mind.

Say I decided to start another account..win a few RG's, MPC's, etc...get bumpempd to Master...but have the credits to buy good clubs now...

So I start tanking my rounds, playing Blitz..and pulling in more credits..and now am sitting at a 72 avg Master., level 91 with R11's and 81 Nikes...

You think I couldn't drop a sub 60 in a qual round "for those who dont shoot low"...

    Your thoughts...

Let me see if I have this right...

If the game is made so hard that the best players shoot around par, your scores will stay the same?

    Hah, spot on.

I don't think logic works for this guy :)

title of this thread should be "There should be tourneys for players who refuse to upgrade there equipment"

if you don't want to spend money  you can watch vids and earn free creds to upgrade the equipment.

Mike, what the hell are we doing here talking to brick walls?  We're the two players immediately below the cut line in the Nation tourney!

Oh wait...that's just hitting golf balls into a brick wall....carry on.
