It's not right that a majority of  members can't take part in tournaments or have a fair chance at winning prizes because all the 50's and 60's shooters monopolize every tournament..

Realistic would mean that some tournaments play harder than others, and occasionally, as in real golf, tough courses would end up producing winners and cut lines over par.  That never happens here....... so a majority of players are scored out of tournaments before they ever take their first shot.!

When you shoot a round of 10. 11 or 12 under, and you don't even make the cut.......something is radically wrong!!!

Play the Nation Merion Challenge, it's tier based.

Already tier's and that's not without issues. How do you envisage applying fairness viz a vie sandbagging, for one possible problem, to your idea..............Just wondering!

You're dreaming if you think scores should become "realistic" with cut lines over par.

This is a damn GAME, a golf simulation, do you ridiculious people crying in 6 threads a day forget that?

Just because you and that other nut Geahry1 or how he's called are bad at this game, doesn't mean others are too, simple as that.

When did you shoot  10 11 or 12 under in the qualifier??? Never! When in fact did you even play in the qualifier??? Never!

Your big problem is that you have been here over 5 years and are still a master using mostly starter clubs. Also checking your stats it shows in that 5 years you have only played 394 ranked rounds. That is an average of less than 80 rounds a year. The top players might play that many rounds in a month. You won't learn to play great here playing that few rounds, with the clubs you have. Compare that to the over 10000 rounds that the leader of the qualifier has played. Why complain about the low scores when you are doing virtually nothing to improve your game so you might have a chance to qualify??

Let me see if I have this right...

If the game is made so hard that the best players shoot around par, your scores will stay the same?

I think many feel that..."heck...make THEM shoot par"...."then I have a chance"...without realizing they will shoot 80+ and still complain...

Oh well...at least it's summer time;)
