It's a private Club on the Main Line in Philadelphia.  They don't have cart girls.  You sip your single-malt scotch in the clubhouse grill after the round.  Or you carry a flask.  Or a water bottle filled with an Italian sports drink, as I do.

Though I do sympathize with you, TT.

Thanks MisterWGT, your pics give a new dimension and interesting details about the "Making Of The Course".

I suppose you are using a 3D "terrain" software (also used from helicopters or airplanes) to make all surfaces and give the game "playing surface" all details to make it the closest to the real.

Well, I enjoy your course and try to simulate in my thoughts...I am playing the Us Open!

    Cheers Eric.

Huh? What do you mean here, Eric? What isn't real now? (Leave the scores out of it.)

    TeacHa:

Great job indeed, if we can wish for anything else it'd be other pin locations (as they use different ones in the US Open)

it seems we only have 1 set of pin locations for Merion :/, nice course though!

Other pins will eventually come in a year or two, lol. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Sunday pins are pretty close to what we see on WGT.

Absolutely nothing wrong Jim, I was just wondering how WGT matches the DH pictures with the game grids where the ball lands. You can hire a terrain 3D service to get the precise data of any terrain, architects used often, particularly when making golf courses or in very steeped terrains.

Enjoying every single shot the pros are doing at the Open, but enjoying more the toughness of the real Merion.

    Cheers Eric
