  Hi. I would like to know why I can only join one club at a time? is there a reason for this?

  Normally in real life you only belong to only one club in real life. But even if you did belong to more than one club, how are you going to devote your time to both CC's. As it is you appear not to play often as it is. Would that be fair on the owner of the club? Personally I would be insulted

  That's funny!  In real life, I belong to 3 CC's, and not one of the "Presidents" are offended.  In fact two of the 3 belong to at least two CC's.  Two of the 3 CC's I belong to play all of their games on their home course.  The third CC is a traveling CC and plays on weekends only.  Their tourneys draw a larger turn-out, which makes the prizes better.  You can't play in these tourneys if you're not a member; hence the reason I belong to said CC.

  Most tourney playing golfers will belong to multiple CC's.  The reason is simple ... green fees for members is cheaper than the rack rate, making it cheaper to become a member if you play the course often enough.

  I'm guessing you don't play real golf that often.

  The OP was talking about this game not real life . So all the facts you state about real life are irrelevant in this matter.

  How about if all CC's here were like in real life?...how many would you join at say...I dunno...2500 credits...bargain com[pared to the real world...ya think?

  A good club will keep you more than occupied. You won't need two.

  No I don't these days, only once a week max, which is a lot less than I used too. Not sure where you play, but the ONE club I am a member my annual fees are approx US$3500 and if I were to join now the joining fee is in excess of US$30,000 (luckily I joined many years ago and was significantly cheaper). So I am not sure where you play or what caliber courses they are but unless you have serious cash to burn, most players only belong to one club in real life. Perhaps it is very different in the US. It sounds like the CC's you belong to are glorified social clubs.

  But I was referring to WGT, as the OP hardly plays only 1 CC event a week, so  how the hell would he cope playing in 3 CC's.

  Sadly there is so little loyalty with many members of CC's, so the owners efforts are insulted, especially if they nurture some of these players.

  Fine have it your way, be allowed to be a member of more than one club on the proviso, you PAY for that privilege and part of that fee can go to the original CC.

  And I agree with Ms Fish, if the CC you belong to can't keep you occupied then something is wrong.

  I totally understand your statement here.  I was fortunate that I was introduced to WGT by my uncle when I moved back to California.  I know I wouldn't have advanced as quickly through the tiers without his help.

  One of my WGT friends just started a CC a little more than a week ago.  I am helping him by doing the nurturing you speak of above as well as make sure there's always enough tournaments to play.  Currently we are accepting Amateurs up.  This means we have to spend more time in the nurturing phase teaching them the ropes.  With the "one CC" limitation, I can totally understand getting offended when said Amateur advances up the tiers to say, Tour Master or Legend, then leaves the CC.  

  I don't disagree with you at all with regards to your statements about WGT CC's.  I was merely making a point that in real golf, one can join more than one CC if one chooses to do so.  In this game, you are forced to quit your CC before you can check out another.
