Thank you for the tributes to Steve

  All my deepest thank's for the tributes to Steve, So many people who never played him have been so generous in there thank's. We moan and complain about the way the game plays sometimes that we forget the friendships that are created.

  All our heart felt thank's to the UNC  ( Steves club ) for there memorial, and to Camelot his former club for dedicating a Future tourney in his memory.

  At the moment my heart feel's as though it has been ripped out, a big void left in it's place. I know with time it will heal, all your messages have helped a great deal.

  So Thank's WGT for bringing so many people together from all over the world that have forged friendships.

  I never played him but, I am sad to know a WGT member has passed away. Remember a couple more who are not here too. Always sad to think that they are not here any longer.

  Russell, still carry my deepest condolences to You and to the Steve's Family.

  These are times where perhaps the silence, as well as messages of condolence, is the best relief from the thoughts that go through our head. The gesture of your country club to dedicate him a future tournament in his memory honors You and I hope You get all my respect.

  I hope it goes as free tournament for all users, even if they aren't enrolled in your country club, just to have fun in the spirit that WGT intends and for which even Steve was passionate. That can pass as a silent message to donate to the Steve's Family.

  Although I never had the pleasure of playing Steve....it just brings it all home that WGT is more than just a game, more than just virtualilty. There are real people pressing buttons at the other end which makes this such a great and active online community and when one of our members passes away, it does leave a real life void which for those who knew and played with him will prove very difficult / impossible to fill.

  As WGT survives though, their memories will live on and will they will continue to have their own piece of the internet.
