  I never got into the Soprano's, but did like him as an actor...damned...same age as me...mercy too young!

  Having dinner with his 14 year old son, no less. The Sopranos was a fantastic HBO series and Gandolfini made it that way as Tony. Mano a mano against Robert Redford in The Last Castle was great, getting burned alive by Nicolas Cage in 8MM was justice and the list goes on. He was more than a mobster and wanted to be known that way.

  I was shocked to hear my favorite television gangster had passed.  Life is short; eternity is long.  My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
